Samsung is to extend its HD camcorder line-up with four new models, the Samsung H Series HMX-H106, HMX-H105, HMX-H104, and the HMX-H100, all of which sport Schneider Kreuznach Varioplan HD lenses with optical image stabilization , offer full HD video capture and, in terms of Samsung’s new flagship HD camcorder, the HMX-H106, comes with integrated 64GB Solid State Drive.

Samsung’s new H106 bypasses the need for a hard drive, with a 64 gigabyte solid state drive offering similar benefits to many high end laptops on the market. This equates to animpressive 12 hours of HD video storage. While specifics wew unavailable at press time, the machine, with its simple and attractive design, promises to shake up the HD camcorder competition this year.
