If you own a camera whether it is of the film variety or a digital camera or even a camcorder. One thing that you are going to want to get as the first accessory after a camera bag is a Camera Tripod.

The other thing that a Camera Tripod can do is allow you to use the self-timer mechanism on the camera so that you can dun up and get in the shot as well. A Camera Tripod comes in several varieties. While specifics wew unavailable at press time, the machine, with its simple and attractive design, promises to shake up the HD camcorder competition this year.

POWERMAT WIRELESS HEADSET CHARGER

Something I’m looking forward to grill its manufacturers about at CES is the Powermat wireless gadget charger. It’s not, for me, of particular interest that there are no wires involved - technically speaking, there are - but it’s the idea that you can charge more than one device from just one power source.

From what I can gather, the mat itself plugs into the wall and anything you put on the mat - MP3 players, PMPs, phones, laptops - they all charge up just by making contact with it. In response to some of the other posts; efficiency is 90% and the covers are not necessary based on posts from another sited where individuals saw the PowerMat at CES - these are covers that most people have already.What I really want to know is, how well does it work?

The mat uses magnetic induction to charge the batteries but how quickly do they power up?

How many can you put on at any one time and how does the number you have on charge affect performance?

I have the answer to these questions and more lie in certain desert city in a week or so’s time. I’ll let you know as soon as I do.
